The Wakulla Welcome Center in Panacea – A world of nature outside…..a collection of natural history inside. Stop in, take time to explore. Walk through the doors of the center, and take a fascinating look at local history, art, and “discovery” education. Information Center – Obtain maps and information about Wakulla County. Educational and History Display – Learn what makes the environment in Wakulla County unique, and what gives it a special place in America’s history. Coastal Art Gallery – Absorb the art of nature as interpreted by various artists.
Step outside to the deck overlooking Dickerson Bay and experience the natural world of Wakulla. Enjoying a panoramic view of sky pine forests, salt marsh and bays. Watch a stately heron foraging in the shallows. Let the warm gulf breezes blow your cares away. Nature Trail - Hike coast forests and hardwood hammocks along the bay. Canoe and Kayak Ramp - Do more that walk the wild lands …. Paddle the creeks to beautiful Dickerson Bay. Bird Watching - See eagles, ospreys, wading birds, herons, and warblers.

Description of Scholarship and Eligibility Statement
The Panacea Waterfronts Florida Partnership, Inc. scholarship exists to assist qualified individuals who currently live in Panacea and are
seeking to attend an accredited institution of higher learning or
vocational program.
​
This scholarship is funded from proceeds from events sponsored by Panacea Waterfronts.
​
Scholarship funds will be distributed in one payment of $1,000 and will be made upon proof of registration
.
Funds shall be made available for payout for one year after being awarded.
