We want to share an important update regarding Panacea’s Rock the Dock Fishing Tournament.

Over the past several months, we’ve taken time to thoughtfully revisit the heart behind this event. Rock the Dock was created to celebrate Panacea’s working waterfront, honor our fishing heritage, and provide a genuine, community-centered tournament experience.

In that spirit, we are realigning the tournament with its original purpose — focusing on quality over quantity and creating a more meaningful experience for anglers, families, and our local community.

To best accomplish that, we are moving Rock the Dock to September 2026.

This time of year offers more favorable weather patterns, stronger fishing conditions, and a better overall environment to deliver the kind of intentional, authentic tournament experience we believe Rock the Dock was always meant to provide.

This decision is about stewardship — of the event, of our fishermen, and of Panacea’s legacy. We are committed to ensuring that when Rock the Dock takes place, it reflects the values and traditions that inspired it in the first place.
